Our standard tower mount fitting, sized for 1” Schd 40 pipe (1.35” o.d. – 1.084” i.d.) May be permanently installed in pipe with 2 part epoxy and stainless set screws, or may be welded in place. This fitting is identical to our Kit#1 except that it fits the smaller diameter 1” schd 40 pipe

This fitting was designed by our Company over 27 years ago, and has been used to mount just about every kind of Tower Structure from a small Fishing Arch to a Tuna Tower on a 60’ boat. These fittings are all carefully machined from 6061 T6 aluminum, and bright dip anodized to a marine grade standard. The mounting pad is 3 1/2” in diameter and has five countersunk mounting holes for 1/4-20 oval or flat head mounting bolts. The matching back up plate is also 3 1/2” in diameter and is pre-drilled for the mounting bolts. The pin connector
which fits into 1” Schd. 40 pipe is secured to the mounting pad with a 3/8” stainless hex bolt. Nylon washers between the female mounting pad and the male pin eliminate metal to metal contact in the fitting which can cause oxide staining and noise. The 3/8” bolt is backed up with stainless washers.
